Why you want to be elected?
I believe that PR is a very important aspect of a good NGO, as well as the others. But even the biggest and the best event seems to be nothing if nobody knows about it. An NGO may function well and be really usefull, but if nobody knows about it, the productivity of the organisation seriously falls down. I want to contribute as much as I can to popularise EYP-Ukraine, to popularise the sessions that we conduct.

How will you contribute to the work of the European Youth Parliament – Ukraine?
My contribution to the work of EYP-Ukraine is going to be in my complete commitment to EYP board, PR department and cooperation with other departments. It is essential that we keep in touch with local media that we work on media database on local level and help local initiatives in spreading the word about EYP.

What are your plans for the term you are running for?
Since our work right now is focused mainly towards the Lviv IS, the main point right now is to spread as much info about EYP-Ukraine as we can. First of all to help with fundraising, second of all – to get more people involved in EYP. This means that the preparation to the session will be supported by media (who is going to be familiar with the organisation by then), sponsors (who will see that EYP-Ukraine is the well-know organisation), schools and universities (who’s students are going to be members of EYP). Thus what we need to do is together with the members of PR department collect as much info and contacts of media – all-Ukrainian as well as local. We need to maintain good relations with them and actually provide them with some fruitful news about our events, since a lot of local mass media are seeking for good materials.

It is very important to stimulate members to spread info about EYP and actually stay in EYP active. Thus a very important issue would be developing the already existing EYPaper. It is a very interesting idea to have a video blog, which was a little bit developed on Facebook. Thus we can be active in providing them with information about EYP-Ukraine (we benefit by showing our active participation) and maybe starting something on our own.

First picture of any organisation today is its website. So it will be essential to keep up-to-date our website, photo gallery (last pictures – Rzeszow Weekend 2007), EYP blog.
